Overview

The Harel Frères Group is among the largest in the country and recognizes the importance of good governance and CSR in developing any successful business. The sustainability of such a large group is closely linked to the welfare of its employees, its stakeholders and the Mauritian population at large. Accordingly, the directors recognize that, while they are ultimately answerable to shareholders, it is in the company's long-term interests to conduct itself as a responsible corporate citizen thus contributing to a better society.

It is in the furtherance of this objective that the Fondation Harel Frères was incorporated in order to channel, monitor and distribute the group's CSR contributions.
